ANDERSON CREEK FALLS

RATING - 2/10

TYPE OF APPROACH - Trail + Bushwhack

DIFFICULTY - Difficult

LOCATION - Baker Lake Area

TYPE - Plunge

HEIGHT - 15'

WIDTH - 5'

GPS - N48 39.633 W121 39.684

ELEVATION - 1227'

Anderson Creek pours out of a massive, extremely narrow canyon and drops about 15'.  I'm convinced there is a much better falls just upstream but I can't get a view of it.  I've come in from the bottom and from the top with no view.  The only option left seems to involve repelling into the canyon and I'm not qualified to do that.

DIRECTIONS - Turn off Baker Lake Road onto FR 1106 which goes over the top of the dam.  Follow the road up a few miles to the Baker Lake Trailhead.  About a mile and a half along the trail, you will encounter Anderson Creek (impossible to miss).  The falls are about 1/4 mile upstream.  It's pretty tough to get to and not worth it unless you can figure out how to get a view of the bigger falls upstream.
